A Bespoke Approach to Orthodontics

Ceramic Fixed Brackets
We offer an extensive choice of aesthetic fixed bracket solutions including Clarity Ceramic, when combined with white wires offer highly discreet option designed with patient confidence in mind. If your patient requires fixed braces, we will carry out extensive assessment and treatment planning to arrive at the system that best suits their needs and lifestyle.

We use a range of metal brackets that deliver excellent results whilst offering a more economical choice where costs is a consideration.
Invisalign and Aligners
Many patients are now seeking an orthodontic appliance that works well but fits their lifestyle and Invisalign and clear aligners offer patients the opportunity to have orthodontic treatment without the need of fixed brackets. Not all patients are suitable for treatment with aligners, but many less server cases can be treated using this technology and we recommend that patients are referred for an assessment and we can then recommend the best treatment options.
Lingual Brackets
Lingual brackets can be the ideal choice for cases where fixed brackets are required to correct the misalignment, but the patient requires an invisible alternative. Custom-made for comfort and efficiency, lingual brackets are fitted discreetly to the back of the teeth for optimum aesthetics. Lingual brackets can be as effective as conventional brackets, sometimes more so. Modern imaging and a computer-controlled manufacturing process allow for improved accuracy, giving full control over tooth movement.
Functional Appliances
Functional appliances are removable and use the muscles of the face and jaws to move teeth in to a more desirable position. This kind of appliance is usually advised for patients with an increased overjet and can achieve excellent results if the patients wears the appliance as directed. Functional appliances tend to work most effectively in growing patients so are not used in adult patients.
Most functional appliance treatment patients then progress onto fixed appliance orthodontic treatment to fully correct their orthodontic problem.
Orthognathic Surgery
Sometimes patients require a surgical procedure to correct jaw malalignments and we are able to work with our highly experienced maxilla-facial colleagues to provide world class surgical procedures coupled with on-going orthodontic treatment to correct even the most severe of cases.
Multidisciplinary Cases
On some occasions it is necessary to work with restorative or surgical colleagues to gain the overall result the patient desires. We are able to work with either referring dentists or specialist colleagues across a spectrum of disciplines to create the jaw and tooth realignment the patient desires.
Retainers
Once patients have completed treatment it is vital that they continue to wear a clear retainer to protect and maintain their beautiful new smile. Ideally retainers should be worn for life and certainly for a number of years post treatment. Each patient who has treatment with us would be invited back for a review appointment and new retainers would be provided as required.
